Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I had grown up in church my whole life, but switched churches when I was 8 and my parents got divorced. A few years later and I found myself falling into idolizing acceptance in my freshman and sophomore year of high school and ended up dating two guys who drew me away from God, even though I was still at church every Sunday. After those ended, I really realized where I was at with God and where I wanted to be. I surrendered everything to God and began following Him.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Bethany Church, Greenland, NH
– leader in the small group throughout high school and this past summer
– 5 short term mission trips

Hill City Community Church
-worship team

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Having a mentor. I have been meeting with her for 5 years and she has completely changed my life and always puts things into perspective for me while pointing me towards Christ.

Being involved in my youth group throughout high school as well as leading FCA showed me the desire I have for high school and college aged students

The short term trips I have been on, but also the month long mission trip to Ecuador this summer with 12 people I had never met before. I saw God working and grew so much over that past month

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My parents divorce has helped shape my heart towards children with divorced parents or broken homes

My dad being an alcoholic who has been sober for 6 years, and my step-brother who is 32 having been homeless and a drug addict since he was 18 has given me a heart for people struggling with alcohol and substance abuse.

The relationships I was in in high school led me to learn about what a godly relationship should and will look like for my life; seeing God’s redemptive work in this area of my life

  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Working for a missions organization/no need profit that worked with single parent homes

4. Living in different areas of the world to share the Gospel and make God’s name known across countries and cultures
