My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Born and raised in a Christian home in Topeka Kansas. Went my own way for most of my adolescence and made a lot of bad decisions. Became in a Christian in 1991.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Walk to Emaus – Was already a christian but went on this 3 day retreat where God’s love for me clicked.

Married my wife

Becoming a father

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Father-in-law was shot in an attempted robbery in early 2000’s. Did a lot of growing up and becoming independent to help family.

Lost job a few times – helped me to understand that its the people in the church who take care of each other (it’s why I like to give more than receive)

Becoming a father and having two lives (and after lives) depend heavily on your actions. (It’s not really negative but creates a lot of pressure)
