[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. My wife (ICU Nurse) who is the most compassionate person I know. She continually puts the needs of others above her own

2. My Son and Daughter of which I am so proud and thankful to God for. I honestly could not have asked anything better than what God provided.

3. I enjoy most all arts including pottery, painting, and photography. I have a fully working pottery studio with pottery wheels and kilns. I enjoy displaying and demonstrating my pottery at art shows

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I enjoy working with people who do not seek recognition and are willing to serve and be behind the scenes to make the church successful

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I am a trained troubleshooter when it comes to technical issues. Media (visual/sound/lights). Creating props and decorations for events.

[A]bilities

My current vocation:

Electrical Engineer at Harris that works as a project engineer bringing together multiple groups to plan, track and execute projects from start to finish.

Other jobs I have experience in:

Technician – troubleshooting problems to determine root cause and develop a solution

Special talents/skills that I have:

Pottery, painting, photography

I have taught a class or seminar on:

Pottery; not that I have yet but there are amazing spiritual truths that can be conveyed through the making a vessel from a lump of clay. The centering, opening, lifting, shaping and trimming are all directly applicable to how God shapes us and even though we make bad mistakes, the consequence is seen but through God’s mercy and grace, a vessel of beauty can still be made in spite of mistakes

I feel my most valuable personal asset is:

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I have from a very early age been drawn to Christ through watching Billy Graham crusades on TV. I publicly accepted Christ at a Word of Life rally at age 16 and baptized at age 19. I am a sinner saved by grace of which I am totally undeserving of.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Multimedia @ Lockmar Baptist, Covenant Presbyterian, and 1st Baptist of Melbourne. All local churches.

My wife and I love cooking and would love to serve in a ministry preparing meals for church events.

Choir at Lockmar Baptist, Teaching kids Sunday school when my kids were young. Mission trip to Mexico to build a home through Homes of Hope

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Mexico mission trip and seeing how a vast majority of the world lives compared to any one in the US

My kids and the true blessing they are to me. Seeing them grow from birth to adults has been an amazing journey

Godly men of God that lead their churches not for wealth or fame but a genuine passion for every soul in their care coming to know Christ and living eternity with Christ

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Broken marital relationship that led to divorce

Seeing kids from homes where parents do not love or nurture but rather neglect their kids

Fake pastors that are leading people to Hell
