Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Reaching out to the sick or dying patient and families. Educating them on the dying process and offering hope for an eternal life in Jesus Christ.

2. Ministering to emotionally hurting people; especially newly divorced people.

3. Though I’ve never done Pro Life work, I think I would find it extremely rewarding.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

The elderly, the homeless, young women.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was a young mother and married to an abusive, Alcoholic man, living very far from home. I was hopeless and suicidal. I asked God to make Himself “real” to me, if indeed He really did exist. He brought me to “the end of myself”. Eventually, I found myself in a church, where I heard the truth, and I was born again. My life began to change and continues to humble me every time I think about what the Lord has done for me.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Celebrate Recovery @ Celebration Church, Metairie, LA. 2 years

Divorce Care @ Celebration Church, Metairie, LA. 5 years

Cell Group Host Home/ Celebration Church, Metairie, LA. 15 years intermittently.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Became an LPN; then returned to school and became a Registered Nurse, CM, FN

Attended Divorce Care and was set free from bitterness. Met and married my current husband at Celebration Church.

Was instantly delivered from depression, during praise & worship, over 15 years ago. (I had struggled with severe depression since I was a child.)

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Physical and sexual abuse.

Loneliness and depression

For so many years I was caught up in my own survival. As a result, my children were emotionally neglected and verbally abused. I still don’t have the best relationship with them. Unfortunately, the dysfunctional environment that they were brought up in has left many emotional scars on them. I am trusting and believing God for a miracle in this area.
