This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I know that what I have doesn’t matter in this life so if I can take the little I do have and make someone’s life easier or better then why not?

1. I love talking to the elderly because I feel like I can relate to them on a level that I can’t with people my own age.
2. I love my job. Being able to talk to and help church leaders implement discipleship in their churches brings me joy because I know the role discipleship has played in my life.
3. I love being in the outdoors because of the peace and stillness it allows me to have before the Lord that I can’t replicate at home.
I love to work with people that are older than me so I get a chance to hear their wisdom on things in life that I haven’t experienced yet.
I am concerned for the health of churches. Church is more than a routine, it is more than place, church is a family all sharing the same mind and heart. When we don’t relay that to our people they can’t experience the glory of what it’s like to be in Jesus’s family.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
I moved to TN from CA where I never opened the Bible or stepped foot into a church. In need of friends I heard that a lot of people were going to this church so I thought I’d give it a try. At first I was apprehensive to the church as a whole but the more I went the more interested I became. After 4 years of going to church my friends invited me to our church camp; so I went and after 3 days of being in the most spiritual environment I’ve ever been in I gave my life to Christ. If it wasn’t for the support and prayer from my friends and their families I have no idea where I’d be in life now.
I served at Long Hollow Baptist Church in Hendersonville, TN as part of the setup team. Our job was to set up tables and chairs and stock coolers for the church.
I am currently serving at the same church but now I work with Replicate ministries helping equip local churches make disciples who make disciples.
Being around my friend and his family showing me what a godly household looks like all the while sharing the gospel through their actions.
Being in a discipleship group where I was constantly held accountable for my actions but also growing in love, respect, and trust of those guys in my group.
Being in a life group where we dive into the word weekly and walk through the sermon together allowing me to grow in knowledge of the word and knowledge of the people in my group.
Me being the only person in my family who is saved is hard because I feel attacked every time I bring up Jesus but that just shows that its working and encourages me more.
Living paycheck to paycheck while growing up allows me to relate to people going through hard times and also has helped me not rely on my possessions to bring me joy.
Losing family members and close friends has helped me be a shoulder to lean on for people going through that.
