Thank you Lisa Mallam for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I was raised Catholic and attended Catholic school but experiences in the church soured my view on church and attendance in my 20′ and early 30’s. I got back into church as our daughter attended Christian school. We had always been believers and faithful, but needed to get back closer to God in a house of God with a church family. We attended another church for the last 7 years but they were not following certain biblical beliefs and we had to get to church with biblical roots. Many roads were guiding us to Park Valley,
None.
Working at a food bank and preparing meals at a home shelter. Anyone can fall on hard times at any moment. God will provide and we need to be there to lift one another up.
Getting back to church. if it hadn’t been for my husband pushing to get us back in a church family, it may have been many more years before we did.
Helping others in a time of need is so important. A little bit of kindness, support, listening or helping with food, bills, or other monetary elements could make a huge impact on someone’s life.
As a teenager, learning the horrible affects of gossiping and lending that advice to others to ensure we help to lift one another up and not tear one another down. Such a motivator.
Leaving church as a teenager and seeing someone spit on a car b/c they made their own parking space. Made me feel this specific religion/church was filled with hypocrisy. But realizing not all religions/churches were like that and finding the loving house of the Lord.
Having anxiety and being able to pray and have God help me overcome.
