Thank you Carolyn Gunn for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

1. Travel
2. Being exposed to different cultures
3. Research, Investigative research
I never thought about this before. I guess I would say children between the ages of 5 and 10 because their minds are like a sponge and they enjoy learning.
Travel Ministry – I would love to see the church go on traveling trips such as cruises or trips to other countries to have exposure to different cultures.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
When I think back I became a Christian as a child. My parents had me attending Sunday School and Church from as far back as I can remember ( 4 or 5 years old). I joined the church when I was about 8 years old but didn’t have a true understanding of what it meant to be a Christian until my teenage years.
Tabernacle Baptist Church, Dayton, Ohio, Scholarship Committee. It was very brief. I attended 3 meetings but felt the committee was territorial. (About 10 years ago)
Tabernacle Baptist Church, Dayton, Ohio, Boy scouts and Cub Scouts Committee. I worked with that ministry for a year (20 years ago)
The upbringing my parents provided me and the environment they raised me in.
Having my parents as a cheerleader for each milestone I reached in my life.
Graduating from College and Graduate School
Going through kidney failure, going on dialysis for 3 1/2 years before being transplanted.
Going through Divorce twice.
Losing a job
