S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Cassie L’Heureux for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. #1 Gift, Evangelism (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I only became a Christian 4 years ago, and I feel this need to share God’s love and good news with others because I’ve seen what He’s done in my own life. This has really been on my heart since my first short-term mission trip in 2019.

#2 Gift, Serving (87%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I never need to be the front-runner or center of attention. I know serving shows God’s love and I’m perfectly content considering myself as #2. If I can help others and this helps spread God’s love, I am content!

#3 Gift, Giving (78%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am very blessed to be well off, and it is on my heart to be an enthusiastic giver. God is challenging me in this area. I already tithe 10%, but am looking to increase this amount this year and moving forward.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love working out. It keeps me mentally healthy and strong. I try to remember God wants me to take care of my body, and for me, that is what I love to do!

2. I have a Corgi puppy and I love spending time with her. I love taking her to the dog park, out to restaurants with friends for social hour, and the sorts. I am definitely an extrovert and love being able to

3. I love being obedient to God, in ways such as reading the Word and spending time with Him, talking about Him to unbelievers, giving cheerfully, etc. I love learning more about Him and being able to follow His will for me.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I am single and 28, so I find myself loving to work with single people between the ages of 24 – 35, especially since it’s difficult for me to relate to those who are married and with children.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Short term mission trips! After that, I’m looking into a ministry that helps victims of human sex trafficking. From there, any type of serving like cleaning, helping hand, administration, etc.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

When I was 23, a man I was dating was a Christian and started bringing me to a church. When we broke up, I realized I loved the way I was feeling (Holy Spirit), and broke down next to my bed and prayed to God to not leave me. He told me it was my choice. I decided to keep going to church by myself. I didn’t have a community. Over the course of a year and a half, I struggled with surrendering my life to Christ because I liked doing what I was doing, struggled with sin, and didn’t want to let go of having control, but I finally surrendered and got baptized on September 21, 2017.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Christ Church of the Valley (CCV) – Served coffee shop (volunteer) for 2 1/2 years

Italy Mission Trip – 2 weeks in 2019

Growing the Garden – located on LSC’s land (current)

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

God healed me physically from sexual consequences of choices in my past.

A community of single women my age grew my faith over the course of 4 years. I wouldn’t be where I am in my faith if it weren’t for that community.

I’ve heard God’s voice a few times in my life, which is a blessing because I have friends who have never heard His voice. I would never deny His existence because of these experiences. It’s why I do my best to be so obedient to Him.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I have been raped and abused.

I committed adultery (I was not married but with a married man)

I lost a mentor to suicide, and have suffered depression in my past.
