#1 Gift, Evangelism (100%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Evangelism for me is a way of life. I try to incorporate it in all I do and in my daily activities, whether teaching, raising kids, speaking to family, friends, or neighbors and more. This includes in my actions as well – bringing meals to people, fostering, writing a discipleship blog, inviting people to church, connect group, d group, church events, etc. I make a habit of handing out large numbers of spiritual books to people at any opportunity – birthdays, Christmas, loss, etc. This is also why we participate with Operation Christmas Child and hand out blessing bags to the homeless in our community. We intentionally try to take advantage of any opportunities that come our way to share Christ with others. I did not grow up in a Christian home and did not know the Lord until I became an adult. So now I have a passion for reaching as many others for Christ as I can, so that they too would know His grace and mercy, hope, strength, and more, with the limited time I have.

#2 Gift, Giving (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Everything I have belongs to Him. We are just stewards of His resources. We happily give it all away as the Holy Spirit and opportunities prompt us. God has blessed my husband with a good income and God has convicted us to live below our means so that we can give generously when needed.

#3 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
My love language is encouragement and I love to encourage others to reach their full potential for Christ. God often convicts me to share my own shortcomings with others so as to encourage, share what I have learned, and open up spiritual conversations with the unsaved.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Many seeds were planted in me as a kid and teen. While in college I started reading some different books on creationism and eventually when I was around 23, I read the first left behind book in the series and gave my life to the Lord.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

I have served in just about every ministry.
At Heritage Free Will Baptist Church in Gilbert, AZ, I served in the womens ministry, nursery, choir and worship team, led the Teen Ministry, taught in the kids ministry, served in AWANA. Also went on several missions to Mexico.

At RBC, have served in preschool ministry, taught in the Kids ministry, served in AWANA, served in women’s ministry. Briefly served in choir.

Have been involved in fostering children through Durham County SS since 2015. Started a discipleship blog 2 years ago.
