This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Being compassionate, loving and allowing my heart to feel for others is a trait that has been stirred in me since I was a child. This has only gotten stronger the more I have studied the Bible and spent time in prayer. My desire is to have God’s heart when it comes to those in need.
[H]eart
1. Enjoy worship: Not only by giving of my talents in worship, but also being able to worship with my church family
2. God’s creation: getting outside to enjoy a trip, outing or just a hike or walk
3. Time spent with my family: Not only my blood family, but those who have come to have a place in my life that are my faith family. It is important to have these times together to build lasting relationships and be investing continually into each other’s lives
Truly I love working with all ages of people. From kids to the elderly, I have learned and grown much through engaging and working beside all different walks of life and maturety levels.
Ministries that promote church body engagement such as worship, hospitality and events are areas that I am always eager to see grow and be involved with. Areas of concern would be the lack of home fellowship groups, the need for men’s and women’s retreats and the discipleship development of our church in it’s various ministries.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
My parents met and brought us up in the same church. During my years growing up I have experienced Christ in a relational way and invited him into my heart around age 10. I re-dedicated and dove into learning the Bible more in my high school years. Learning to offer my life and talents to Christ as an offering of my faith and trust in Him has been the biggest development that I continue to strive to do on a daily basis. Being blessed with a Christian home and community to thrive in has been something that I have learned to be proud and thankful for as I have grown older in my faith.
Calvary Chapel Fallbrook- Youth Intern: 2 years
Calvary Chapel Fallbrook- Children’s Ministry Director: 5 years
Calvary Chapel Fallbrook- Office Staff: current
Being brought up in a family that majored in Biblical values.
Having people invest into my life with their time, talents and even monetarily
Being supported throughout my years of educational growth. Being given parents who allowed me to direct my learning choices and being encouraged to take risks and challenge myself to get out of my comfort zone.
My parent’s relationship. Seeing their troubles in marriage, life and with their relationship with Christ, had a hard impact on me while growing up, but has driven me to see God and not allow circumstances to dictate how I relate and serve.
My older brother’s faith is questionable, and while prayer and witness is all I can do, I have learned to trust God in this area and feel the pain of those going through the same issue with family members.
Losing 2 of my grandparents over the course of the past 8 years has been difficult. Being close to both and being there through the whole process of the end of life is very sobering and has defiantly shaped my view of the life cycle and how difficult the end of days can be for those who struggle with their health.
