S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Casey Chew for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#1 Gift, Evangelism (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I do not have a ministry, so I tell people about the gospel and chance I get in any situation. Most of this is done at work, or just people I meet throughout the day. I always try to find the Jesus moment in every situation that I face, because I know my commission, and what to show and share the love that Jesus gave this sinner.

#2 Gift, Teaching (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Doctrine to me in the biblical sense, is how one interprets the Bible so it can be understood in modern times. This is doing so not to add to or take away from Scripture, but make it as relatable as one can to the audience that they are given. I enjoy showing people what I know or how to understand it, because the Bible is a very all encompassing book. Some or the hidden meanings need to be explained, and I like to study and find the hidden meanings and tell people about them. Teaching is more of a captive audience because they want to know and have the wisdom through knowledge.

#3 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I know and understand what hurt and pain is, because I am a sinner living in a sinful world. Ultimately I know and understand the Love that Jesus gave me, and I want to show them the love that I have, no matter what that looks like. Not many people in this world feel loved, or know what love is. I was never encouraged on my walk with Jesus, or in most of my life, I do not want anyone else to feel the same way.As a Christian I know and understand my second commandment that Jesus gave us love your neighbor as you love yourself. If I want to call myself a Christian, and I want to be Christlike, then I must live and do as Christ did, which is love, and show people the way, the truth and the life.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Share the gospel

2. Show kindness and love

3. give to people in need, or random gifts

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Christians who have lived life and went through it. Usually they are older than myself.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I take and get into any study that I am able to. My concerns are people who do not help taking up someone else’s cross, and walking with them through the hard times as well as the good.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
