I now feel more comfortable in my faith, and knowing what God has done for me and how I have changed with Him in my life, I feel the need to tell other people about God because I know he can do the same thing for them.

Everyone needs encouragement. In this generation of technology and society, it is so easy to find things that discourage us, whether it be on the news, on social media, in music, etc. In a hurting generation, we need more people who feel the need to comfort people who are being burdened by all the things of life.

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Over the years of serving in the church, I have found a passion for working in the background of things. Its just as important as the people who are on the forefront of the ministry because without either side of things nothing would get done. I actually help coordinate service for my youth ministry, so being able to delegate responsibilities to my fellow leaders is just something that comes easier to me. Also it is an absolute necessity for things to be organized for a ministry to run properly, so making sure everything is going as it should is huge for me.

[E]xperience

I grew up in church, but I wasn’t really all in. Around my 7th grade year, I basically fell completely out of church. In the middle of my sophomore year in high school, my best friend invited me out to church, and that is where I rededicated. I still go to the same church to this day.

Faith Family Church (Canton, OH). I have been on the greeter team since January 2019, the photography team since February 2020, and have been on the service coordination team for my youth group since January 2021.
