My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

When my daughter went forward at church after church camp when she was 11, I felt moved by God to go forward and surrender my life to Christ as well.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

When my children were young I did some teaching in a Wednesday night children’s ministry program for a year or two. Did not really enjoy it.

Greeting ministry on Sunday mornings at First Christian Church, Newburgh, IN for several years

Currently substitute teach for Ladies Bible Study at Living Word Christian Church in Newbugh, IN Only have done this 2 times in 2 years. Not my strong suit.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Becoming a part of my husband’s Christian family at the age of 19

Having a loving family and home life as a child despite my mom passing at age 14

Sunday school class as an adult with a wonderful teacher. I went on to attend his divinity school and earn a degree

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My mom passed away when I was 14

35 year old Son with continuing drug abuse issues, jail, compulsive behavior issues

Dysfunction in granddaughter’s life with her mother who came from a dysfunctional family herself
