Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was born and raised in the church. My Christianity was strengthened by my college experiences, which caused me to have to lean on my faith independently of my mother and learn about what Christianity means for me. I learned to trust God through several financial clearance crises in college, that I made it through and was able to graduate on time.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, Detroit, MI 48208
Cherub & Celestial Choirs – 1996 – 2009
Media Ministry – 2005-2009

Hampton University Chapel, Hampton, VA 23668
Pulpit Assistant – 2012-2013

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My family members have always been my biggest cheerleaders. If ever I said I wanted to do a thing or be a thing, they made it happen collectively. My mother has always been the most sickly and least financially stable of all of her siblings, so my family’s support of me showed me their unconditional love of their sister (my mother) and of me and my brother.

I started doing lawn care for hire at 12. I was able to grow that “side-hustle” up through my collegiate years to include clients in and around the Metropolitan Detroit Area. This proved to me that I could run a business, and now here I am – running a business!

Growing up, my grandparents and my mother served the community and our church in various capacities. I got a great joy out of seeing them serve so intentionally, despite the challenges that would arise. I also got a great joy out of serving along side of them, which has groomed my heart for servant-leadership and community service.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My father was absent growing up. He made sporadic appearances, and we later reconnected while I was in college. His lack of love made me feel unloved and unwanted, and caused me to question my value. I searched for the true value and meaning of my life and found it in serving people. I have a special heart for persons with similar father issues and passion for helping them make it through what I still work through daily. I know what it’s like to feel loveless, so I give love abundantly.

My ex-girlfriend attempted suicide and mentioned me in her suicide note. She was unsuccessful at her suicide attempt and we’ve kept in contact since. She suffers from paranoid schizophrenia. I learned from this experience and others that I have an ability to minister to the mentally ill, and help them uncover their value and life’s purpose.

I grew up in a financially unstable home. Without the help of my grandparents, my mother, brother and I would not have made it. Consequently, I have always been and am a hard worker and try to be a good steward of my finances and credit. I often turn down opportunities for fun and leisure in exchange for opportunities for financial security. I am on a quest to build generational wealth and knowledge bank of financial literacy for my family and to teach my friends, family and other what I learn along the way.
