Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was born into a Catholic family, baptized, received First Communion, First Confession and Confirmed. I fell away during college. I questioned myself after two deployments with the military.I finally realized what I was missing during my Masters program on Leadership. My Leadership assessment was lacking a spiritual component . I sought out a church to fulfill that need and found it.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Good News United Methodist Church, Santa Rosa Beach FL – Overseas Mission, Wheelchair ramp ministry, Kids ministry, and Men’s Ministry

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Overseas Mission to Nicaragua challenged me to find the courage to profess my faith to strangers and help them know the love of Christ by showing them love through works, teaching and prayer walks.

Men’s Ministry challenge me to identify my spiritual troubles and confide in others to seek truth and comfort. Also to provide spiritual support to others

Crisis Response to Hurricane Michael helped me cast away my personal needs/comfort/safety to provide support to those who were truly in need

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

The anger I had against those that attacked our Nation on 9/11 and the joy I felt in contributing to the enemies suffering though deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. I realized that most of those that we attacked were not the zealots portrayed by our leaders but humans that were lead astray and did not deserve our hatred, condemnation or the injuries/death we afflicted on them.

I was very focused on my own success and material gain in my 30’s and sacrificed my relationship with my family to pursue those things.

My divorce and relationship with my ex-wife and daughter.I was so full of hatred towards my ex-wife that I let it consume me and negatively affect my relationship with my daughter. It still haunts me 20 years later.
