Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

My family went to church a bit when I was a child. Enough for me to know about Jesus and living a good clean life. I didn’t pay attention to the latter. I finally found Christ in 1992 at Miracle City Apostolic Church in Southern CA. I learned more about Chirst and the bible while attending George Gox University and then continued hearing the good news and finding my path in NYC learning from Pastor Tim Keller. I am still becoming a Christian and will be doing so for the rest of my life.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Mexico with my Parents at the San Quintin Medical Hospital as a young boy. My dad is an orthopedic surgeon and we’d go there to bring medical relief to the town.

With Redeemer Presbyterian Church went to Peru and were working with street children at the Girasoles Center for Boys.

I spent a few years building homes in Tiajuana Mex. with Brentwood Presbyterian Church Los Angeles.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Growing up in San Diego in a loving home where learned the love of the outdoors with family, friends and Boy Scouts. Also learning how to ski and surf.

Finding a solid Christ centered Wife who is a Rock and having a wonderful caring life-loving daughter together.

Developing strong relationships with other men Christians and Non-Christians. Most importantly with my Sibling Brothers.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Not being true to myself and seeking worth in man not Christ.

Spending too many years spinning my wheels as an actor.

Not staying with careers and hobbies long enough in turn regretting the past.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. I’d travel the world with my wife and daughter.

4. I’d spend more time in mission work locally and abroad.

5. I’d spend more time and dive deeper into hobbies.
