S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Clara Green for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Even when I didn’t feel I knew enough to spread the word of God, I longed to do it. It concerns me to pass forward what God has given me, so others can know Him and be saved. I want to learn, not just so I can live for Him, but so i can help to lead others to Christ.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
i love helping others in any way possible; time, money, a listening ear. These are ways we show our love for Christ and times when I feel close to Him. I don’t look to be rewarded, giving in itself is a reward. I desire free time and energy to do more in this area. Giving is a part of evangelism.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have experienced many things in life that God has brought me out of and I am not ashamed to speak on it. I feel there are many that could benefit from my experience as I have benefited from others speaking on there experiences and letting me know I’m not alone, or I’m not the only one going through. I am willing to do whatever God leads me to do to help a soul to Christ or encourage one in the time of need.
[H]eart
1. I love to interact with others. Helping someone in need, celebrating with family
2. I enjoy reading books when I can. Books that help me to understand God’s word, some fiction and mystery books, and recipe books.
3. I love to sing. I love to worship and praise God through song. I believe God is blessing me to learn more about praise and worship.
I love to work with people that don’t mind teaching and have patience for others. I love helping others, assisting others, and teaching others what I know. I like working with those that are willing to contribute to the job and help in everyway possible, in giving of ideas, hands on, or whatever might be needed of us. I enjoy working with adults of all ages.
Church ministries that excite me the most are music, ushering, bible study (teaching/learning).

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
At the age of 16 I began to feel that there was more to Christianity than going to Church on Sunday and singing in the choir. I went to bible study during the week and Sunday School and Church on Sunday. I watched other students at school that said they were saved (I didn’t understand what that meant exactly) and watched the way they acted.
I continued to feel like something was missing. I saw some differences, but didn’t really understand them. Then one day, I was in the music room at school and was listening to some of the “saved girls” talking about some of the other students and I couldn’t take listening to it any more, so I lashed out verbally, calling them hypocrites and backbiters. I told them they were no different from the rest of us. That’s when a true Christian stepped in. She came over to me and told me, true Christians didn’t act like that and invited me to come visit her Church. It was at her Church that I first felt the Spirit of God upon me and a change in my life. I spent the whole day with her and her family and when we went back to Church that night God saved me.
