Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Reading God’s word. I didn’t always enjoy reading but over the last year I made an intentional effort to read the entire Bible; to consume every Word that God said. To create a new base for rededicating my life to him and diving deeper.

2. Spending time with family and friends. Talking through life’s issues and encouraging them where I can. I’ve had so many opportunities to share God on a one on one level because of real conversations.

3. Listening, singing, and writing music. I’ve always loved Gospel music and R&B/Pop music. As a kid I wrote songs about love. At the time I think that’s all I wanted but it was through a worldly lens. I saw the love my parents had, the decades of love my grandparents celebrated, and of course peers around me dating seemingly driven by social queues in pop culture. As I grew older my spirit yearned for God and my flesh desired to fill the void in a worldly manner. Despite this disconnect I still wrote songs and recorded melodies in my phone. I believe I’m finally in a place spiritually and living more righteous for these songs to have real meaning and purpose. I enjoy worship.

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in church. God is all I’ve known. but I’ve always had existential questions about my life and faith. I think I lived with a knowledge of God, a fear of God, but not with a belief that I could see His power displayed in my life. I tried doing things on my own for a while now and have recently seen my mind and heart shift when I decided to be completely obedient to God and trust him fully.
