Total surprise to me. I don’t feel I have this gift. I love to reach others in different ways but I feel this is limited in my scope. I am extroverted but more reserved in my approach. I feel that I could support in this area with the right team. I think this is a combo result of my love to teach and my love to show others how I have been impacted by Christ.

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have been blessed by God and feel that I need to bless others through time and finances. We have been blessed to have an income that allows us to minister to others and that makes me happy when I help others.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was saved at the age of 11. I did not follow Christ like I should and it wasn’t until I got married and Sue and I began to get serious about God 22 years ago that I got in tune with him via Trindale. Received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit at the little chapel on HWY 62 in Trinity. Just recently began to receive the ability to interpret spoken messages

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Trindale Royal Rangers.. 22 years.. 15 years on Conference Staff (currently Dep. Commander)

Couples ministry, KIDS Church, Church Board.. Trindale.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Receiving the baptism allowed me to recognize that my journey with Christ had so much more to ffer

Marrying my wife… GOD made her just for me.

The life of my in laws lived in front of me and showing and sharing what servant hood was all about.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Hurts by the church.. you know some of the stories

Being told when Sue and I first got married that we were unequally yoked (me Baptist and her Pentecostal) by one of the youth leaders at my home church right after we got married.

Not tithing and watching God not work in our lives… then seeing the reversal when we did.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. 1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Travel with my wife while we can.. life it too short to not enjoy each other

4. Help my kids be financially stable and not have to worry with debt

5. Allow my wife to quit her job and serve in FT ministry
