S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Claire Meyer-Hagen for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I feel that I show evangelism not so much by preaching the word of God, but by living out a life worthy to the calling of God. I think that it is important to show acts of love, but more importantly be faithful to God in my own life and in that loving those around me in hopes that they might inquire and long for the love I have. I am honestly surprised that this is one of my top gifts as I am not the first one to readily share the gospel word for word, but more share my experiences and come alongside the hurting while carrying their burdens with them.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I feel that serving comes very easily for me as I love helping others and making a difference in someone’s life even if it does not benefit me. I often find myself doing tasks that seem menial and no one around me likes to do, but I am not bothered by it much as I am serving the Lord and not those around me.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have a heart for the vulnerable and deeply grieved. I feel the Lord has placed several people in my life in which I can come alongside them and help them to carry their burdens. I find I rewarding and take joy in helping and reminding those around me who they are in Christ, despite anything they might have done.
[H]eart
1. I love to be around the people I love. Quality time is something that makes my heart dance and I love to spend time and get to know people on a deep level.
2. I desire to serve the vulnerable and suppressed. This is my heart and sometimes finds me to a fault where I overwork myself. I feel I am learning to give of myself but also protect myself while staying healthy.
3. I love making things beautiful. Whether this being creative, through art, playing violin, singing, decorating, or fixing things, I find it important to build home wherever I go.
I love babies and young children as well as the elderly.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I have always grown up in a Christian home so came to know Christ through my parents, church, and my friends. I have been following him since I was 6 years old, but really started making my faith my own freshman year of high school. I have since had many different encounters with the Lord and have sensed the Holy Spirit whether through my personal relationship and pursuing, mission trips, friends and family, or life experiences in general.
Foothills Fellowship in Albuquerque New Mexico I served on the worship team by playing violin, singing, volunteering in the nursery, and helping teach Sunday school.
I served at St. Vincent De Paul Rescue Mission here in Phoenix for two years through Grand Canyon University. We would go once a week and distribute food, have conversations, and pray for the homeless individuals. I also helped lead worship by playing violin.
I have volunteered at Streetlight, which is a ministry in Glendale to young girls who have been sex trafficked. I volunteered for a year and then was a leader of a group of 6 girls through GCU. We planned activities and spent quality time with these girls once a week as we built relationships and ministered to them.
Going on a mission trip to Calcutta, India. We were only there for two weeks but seeing what true poverty looks like has transformed my outlook on the world as a whole.
Going through nursing school has taught me what hard work and dedication means and how to stay focused and determined to accomplish a goal and dream.
Moving away from my family for school and to start a new nursing career has taught me a lot about myself and what I desire for my relationship with God and those around me.
One of my mentors/ friends passed away suddenly and unexpectedly and that was really really hard for me, but has also shaped the way for new relationships and perspectives on the world around me.
When someone I look up to like my parents or sister do something that makes it hard for me to look up to them, or makes me lose trust. This has helped me realize that God is my ultimate source of strength and my hiding place.
