Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

My grandfather and father were both preachers. I grew up in the church.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Good News UMC, SRB, FL- Supplied Back to school program,

Destiny Worship Center, Destin, Florida-children’s check-in team, volunteer

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

studying abroad in London opened my eyes to a larger world and instilled in me a love of travel and culture

Growing up with a father in church leadership, I loved being a part of the inner circle of the “leader”. I like being included in making the big decisions. I like coming up with ideas to implement.

Seeing Les Miserables as a teenager, and later many other broadways, established in me a love of high drama in music. I love romance.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Losing my father suddenly at age 28 gave me an ability to relate and sympathize with others that have lost a parent

As an 11 year old, I experienced a church split where my father’s church lost half its congregation. I lost all my best friends and their families without an explanation. So, for many years I was resentful of the church and very skeptical. I remain a skeptic in many ways and I often doubt/question authority. I view and sympathize with opinions on both sides of an issue.

I had terrible acne as a teenager. Kids were so cruel and I was so self-conscious. I feel bad when I see teenagers that are struggling with this issue.
