This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I enjoy organizing and almost always find myself in a leadership role anywhere I am. Whether as a teacher, or even as a student, I was always leading and organizing. I love bringing the ideas of the population into fruition, and I truly enjoy inspiring people to participate in the process of transforming an idea into action.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
As a homeschool mom, previously middle school church leader, and middle school teacher – I love teaching and instructing. I have served in small group capacities as well as led business leaders in many public speaking events. I feel this is a great way to inspire and drive new ideas – and I love that.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I feel I am best at sharing meaningful life-biblical events, while building the trust of those I am speaking with through listening and meaningful sharing. I think my enthusiasm and caring is transparent and true to those I speak to.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I grew up in the church and gave my life to God in Junior Church. As a high school student, after attempting suicide, I devoted my life to depending on God, though he was always my savior I saw a need for him in my life. As a graduate of college God was truly my compass, and his will for my life, and I have matured through life experiences (both painful & reassuring, hurtful & encouraging). My relationship with God is at it’s strongest as a mother, as I find myself depending on God, and surrendering to him in so many ways – through life’s challenges.
Middle School and High School “Spring Break” Program Coordinator, 4 years (’02-’05). Also middle school and high school summer camp volunteer, numerous years. @ Camp Judson, Erie, PA.
Next Steps Volunteer 1 year (we organized and initiated this ministry and carried it out until moving to Colorado). Growth Group Leader 2 years. @ LCBC Church, Lancaster PA.
Led Women’s Bible Studies at various times from my home for many years, Led women’s brunch and social events, as well as host numerous homeschool socials. both in Pennsylvania and here in Colorado.
Transitioning from college to my first job, I was so surrendered to God and desiring for his “plan A” for my life, I turned down my dream job because though prayer God was unveiling to me a plan I never expected. I took a job I did not apply for, one that God placed in my life, outside of “my plan” in a leap of faith. I grew so much in that time, through that first job, and met my husband. My life is forever changed because of the trust I had in God and my desire to live his plan for my life.
As a youth I grew up surrounded by a community pouring into me. I desire to help other families by raising our children – together. I also love pouring into youth because so many people poured into me.
I believe the number of people: friends, family, husband – who have extended grace to me in times of selfishness has made me who I am. It motivates me to love on others, and inspire them to allow others to love on them even when they feel undeserving.
I was a collegiate softball player, and coach, and I have had many instances where things were not going my way, or didn’t seem fair (even beyond sports). This gives me a great balance and a way to connect with many people when they are struggling.
The #1 thing that I have always struggled with is when someone does not believe my authenticity – my pure heart when I am being transparent. I believe this helps me to be patient and encourage and help others who are feeling devalued. Finding my worth in the Lord is who I need to focus on and I have a few impactful situations that I can share with others who are feeling like they are not being heard, loved, or valued.
The struggles of parenting and marriage, and the ability to seek the Lord’s fullness in the challenges is something I truly love to share.
