[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

At the age of 36, I found myself a very broken single mom of three beautiful children. I came to the end of myself and became suicidal. The night I was going to commit suicide, I opened a Bible and ran across Jeremiah 33:3. As a last resort, I called out to God to ask that He prove Himself as real and tell me if He wanted me to die. For the first time, I felt love envelop me. He let me die to myself and gave me a new life in exchange.

Being empowered to teach, preach and share about my love for Jesus.

Going on a mission trip to Ireland. Experiencing the drug and homeless epidemic in the city of Dublin.

Having a spiritual growth plan that encourages me to study, learn and grow in my faith.

My parents were addicts/alcoholics as were most of my family members.

My ex-husband became abusive when he used drugs.

Feeling worthless because I thought I was disqualified from God’s love for most of my life.
