#1 Gift, Mercy Showing (96%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have always been able to put myself in the other person’s shoes and feel for them instead of Judge or condemn them. God gave us the ability of free will, so we do not always make the best decisions and I feel everyone deserves a second chance. It is not my place to condemn anyone, but to forgive and try to help them.

#2 Gift, Evangelism (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love telling people about God and what I feel He has done in my life. I want others to see my love of God and want them to want to experience the same.

#3 Gift, Serving (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love to help in any area that I can. I enjoy being a part of something seeing the results.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Church bring me joy and fulfills my desire to learn and be a better servant and Christian

2. Helping someone else in their time of need.

3. Spending time with my family

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I love to work with anyone that is struggling with life and show them that’s God does love them and will forgive them. That they are never alone.
I also love working with children and seeing them grow and learn. It is so amazing.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

This would be my concern of myself. I’m not a very outgoing person and often feel shy or like I don’t fit in; therefore, I know that I miss out on wonderful opportunities to grow and be involved with my church family. The same with my husband.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was born into a Christian Family and raised in church. I was saved at baptized at the age of 10

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Union Avenue helped with Bible School 1997-1999
Taught preschool Sunday School at Memorial Baptist Church 2003-2006

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Growing up in church.

Rehab.

Reading my entire Bible and actually understand it.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Death of my father at a very young age.

Addiction to alcohol.

Prison, pain of missing out on life events that I will never get back. Wanting the pain to go away so desperately that I understood why people want to cause their self physical pain to try to not feel the emotional pain. Contemplating suicide to the point of knowing how desperate a person must feel to get that low in their life.
