#1 Gift, Evangelism (96%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love sharing the word of God. The word says that we all fall short of his glory, and what he has done for me in my life he can and will do for others. People sometimes don’t understand that you have to go through a test to have a testimony. As the man who waited by the pool of Bethesda for the angle to come trouble the water God will see you through.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (96%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I believe that it is all of our responsibilities to help each other and encourage each other when someone is being attacked by the enemy or going through the storms of life. We do this through Gods words and examples in the Bible along with our own testimony of Gods work in us.

#3 Gift, Teaching (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I want to have the ability to learn and teach and win souls for the Kingdom of God. I believe each day we come across an opportunity to teach and encourage either the believer or non-believer. The key is are we will or take advantage of the moment in time we have been blessed with.

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Learning more about what God has to offer to me and others

2. My alone time with the Lord. The daily time of worship with him and I wrap myself into the coat of armor and prepare myself for the day.

3. When I take inventory from time to time of my life and what God has brought me through and knowing the best is yet to come.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

As a child I was always in church, my mother would make sure my sister and I went. However in my early teens and my parents getting a divorce I went my own way and towards the streets. My belief in God didn’t change however my commitment did. Then a life changing event happened. My mother was having surgery when I was in the Army and I rushed back home to be there. My life at that point was out of control and I could feel it slipping away. I remember sitting in the waiting room full of people and my family. A older man walked up to me and handed me a small booklet with Gods words of encouragement on it. As he handed it to me I felt Gods hand on my shoulder. I knew at that point I needed to turn my life over to God. For Gods word say he will never leave you or forsake you. And has never left me in the days before nor after. So I got back into the church and turned my life over to the Lord.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Giving back to those who are in need. Working with a non-profit in Minnesota to give jobs to felony convicted men who have been released so that they didn’t have to rely on the government system.

As a veteran having the opportunity to give time and volunteer for the national wheel chair games.

Being married to my wife Kerry. The word of God says he who finds a wife finds a good thing. God has shown me through her what unconditional love is about. She has given vision to all my dreams and has supported me in all the moves we have made over the years in my career. She has always seem to see the best in me when I couldn’t see it in myself,

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Seeing my mother struggle to feed my sister and I after my father left the house. As Jesus feed the 5 thousand anyone who came to our house my mother made sure they didn’t leave hungry. That has given my the passion to feed the hungry and the homeless.

Getting into drugs as a teenager. Seeing the disappointment in my mothers face and her heart when I got kicked out of school. I always try to encourage young people not to take that path because in these days it is very hard to recover from it. But by Gods grace I was able to.
