S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Cyndilu Miller for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. #1 Gift, Teaching (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have a knack for learning things quickly and then helping to see how others learn and sharing those things I have learned in a way that helps others to understand it.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Woohoo! I have had to exhort and encourage myself to bring myself out of the pit of despair so I know the power in this and love to share it with others! And it’s FUN!

#3 Gift, Administration (75%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Administration comes easily to me and I have focused on learning the skills needed to go along with my love for planning and getting things done!

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Sing! Whether it be in front of a church gathering – or on a stage – all sorts of music with accompaniment or without – its all good to me!

2. Teaching people anything they want to learn and watching their eyes light up when they comprehend something they once thought to be difficult to understand!

3. Share my understanding of how the world works and how we work – mind, body and spirit!

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Women who have been through trauma and have decided that they are no longer going to let Trauma dictate who they are. Women who are already on the path to discovering who they are and what they love!

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Excite me the most – the need for teaching that is fresh and comes from a unique view point that perhaps had not been looked at before. Teaching people to get into and explore the scriptures for their own learning and awakening them to the power of the teaching of the Holy Spirit to speak to them through the reading of Scripture!

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Years of going to church. Followed my friends at school. Waffled back and forth for years. Disillusioned through trauma. After years of struggling with God finally relinquished all control and yielded 100% to God and gave Him my ALL! Once I made that decision there was no going back!

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Worship Leader – 2 years Wilder AOG
Traveling Special Music Singer NH/VT – about 20 years

Revival Connections Board 8 years (in office on site for 5 years total 2 years then 3 years off then 3 years serving)
Upper Valley Worship Team Board – 3 years

Women’s Aglow – NH/VT 10 years off and on.
Aglow International – Balclutha Current 2017-2018 Vice President

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Being in Theatre and singing.

Finding my way to Personal Development – Recovery after Divorce and figuring out who I am.

Bowling and being a winner from the efforts I put forward.
Valedictorian at Collins College – Graphic Design and Visual Communications.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Sexual abuse from 3-15 – Attack on my life and subsequent abortion.

Chronic Illness – myself and family members

Divorce

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Speaking to large groups of women about forgiveness and letting go of offences.

4. Help People with their own visions for their life. AND Writing books that would help people discover the power of how God created them to be unique is an open door to showing the LOVE of Christ the way only YOU can.

5. Have my own show that I would sing and act out my life for others to be encouraged and set free from their own fears.
