S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Dan Niemann for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I prefer an academic approach to scripture that emphasizes historical context and Greek/Hebrew studies. I have studied Roman history and the ancient Mesopotamian communities. Couple that with an intricate knowledge of microbiology (from my current profession) and my time in the military, and I can often find an interesting story or anecdote to illustrate biblical lessons and draw in listeners.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
When the occasion arises to share my faith with unbelievers, I always endeavor to come off as knowledgeable without being judgemental and walk them through (what I consider to be) a compelling justification for my belief. Seldom am I confronted with scientific, philosophical, or theological arguments that I am unfamiliar with, so
I can usually offer a well thought out response to any objections. Obviously I can’t always convince everyone, but I rarely leave without some measure of respect for the thought that I have put into my opinions.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
As a parent, a little league coach, and someone who has made my share of mistakes, I understand the value of encouragement.

1. Read
2. Spend time with my children
3. Work
Ages don’t matter to me, I love working with inquisitive people, of any age, who can push me and whom I can push.
Forums where open discussion is encouraged interest me the most and I feel the most comfortable in them (though, I do think community outreach programs are probably more important.)

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
