S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Danny Wellman for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#1 Gift, Giving (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
God has blessed my family greatly. I know that whatever money we have God can use it for better purposes than we can. I love helping out with money and gifts and will continue to do so even it it means having less for our family.

#2 Gift, Teaching (75%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I don’t really feel like i have a gift for teaching. I am not afraid to talk to others and teach, but it is not natural for me and I often have a hard time thinking of things to say or ideas to talk about in groups.

#3 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (53%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I try to encourage whenever I can. It isn’t that natural for me, but I think it is important so I try to do it whenever I think it will help that person.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love music. Singing, playing instruments, etc. I also love listening and being fed spiritually, emotionally and (weirdly enough) intellectually through music.

2. I love doing projects or other physical activities that can help people out. Helping with a move, construction, etc.

3. I love being with my family. We all love being with each other and doing life with each other.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I would probably say college age and up. People who are funny and aren’t afraid to do hard hard are a joy to be with.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Equipping the family. Standing strong on biblical principles. Being compassionate to those who need help and encouragement.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
