[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Loving others well, unconditionally and without barriers

2. Opportunity and often a privilege, to lift up others thru prayer. People are “curious”, then “casual”, then “committed”, then “compelled” to learn about Jesus.
Pray for peoples desire to follow Jesus and work up the ladder to them becoming compelled.

3. Being part of a Church that has the passion to reach others, bringing the Church to people whom have limited opportunities. “Church” has and will continue to change vs a year ago. Plan on how the Church can be more effective and available to those in need.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Young adults. Can use my experience, good and bad, helping them journey thru the personal and spiritual journey.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Being strategic on how to reach others. Adhering to being a bible centered Church, how do we leverage to bring the Church to the people. as Jesus did.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Attended Billy Graham crusade April 28, 1984. Friends were planting the Holy Spirit in my life, and being my accountability partners, without me actually knowing it for 2 years prior.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Grace Community Church, Noblesville IN Elder, Chair of the Elder nom Comm, taught various classes, small group leader, Chair of Audit Comm, Area leader for 15 other small groups.

Real Champions Inc. Ridegeland, SC Ministry to those low income children’s and opportunity to help them maneuver thru poverty. Board Member, Advisor to CEO

Cornerstone Church, Bluffton SC Men’s group leader, couple group leader, greeter, opportunity to participate on 2 committees.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Made me surrender and have a palms up posture as I served Jesus and asked to be used for His purpose. God has enabled my wife and I to serve others, now is time we act upon this blessing.

Aided my prayer time. Prayer is so powerful when you place needs at feet of Jesus.
Time and time again, reaffirmation how loving Jesus is, and continues to provide us unconditional love and undeserving Grace while we serve Him

Went on Costa Rica mission trip this year, and reminded myself how we need to serve others, not be served; how to share with others, not be shared about; and love others well, as this may be the only time love is shown individuals in need.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Be humble and willing to step out. Costa Rica trip showed me this as was in third world country

Prayer is necessary. Found thru minor crisis with kids, that we cannot do it, nor should attempt it, to do and make decision on our own. Relinquish control to God as He is always good.

My dad is 93 and ailing. This journey has taught me to love others unconditionally, serve with gratitude and share gospel, as I may never have a chance the next day, as my father is getting closer and closer to dying.
