S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Katelyn Davison for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#3 Gift, Teaching (34%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I don’t know why this one is here. But I guess I would say the few times I have done something sort of teaching like I kinda enjoy it. I love when people finally understand something. But I don’t think I have done this spiritually. Just more school.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

In 2008 I went to VBS and I heard the gospel message and I asked God into my life.
(I was born in 2003 so I believe I was 5 years old)

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

IMPACT (FBCS)
Northwest Children’s Outreach
Helped clean at Mr. Owen’s house
Portland Rescue Mission
Cleaned at FBCS

Oregon Food Bank

Painted and cleaned at the child’s services building in OR

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Doing IMPACT and seeing how much it impacts the people and organizations we help.

During IMPACT last year my group decided to give bags of stuff to people on the sides of roads with signs. It surprised me that the they were okay with us praying for them. It was a new and very worth while experience.

Mrs. Jones helping me to learn to rely on God more when I get anxious.
Also during IMPACT.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I had to put down two cats (at different times) and so I understand know what that feels like.

Going to the East coast for vacation and seeing all the homeless people every where. It was shocking and scary, it really made me realize that homelessness is a big thing.

I struggle sometimes with being anxious so I understand what others may be going through who are also worriers.
