#1 Gift, Teaching (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I grew up in a family of teachers/educators. I have always enjoyed the learning environment. I feel that it is very important for believers to learn and know the truth of Gods word for themselves, and to own what they know.

#2 Gift, Pastoring/Shepherding (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
My heart rejoices and breaks for the church body. I rejoice because I see members growing, and I get to be apart of that. And my heart breaks because some are complacent or do not have anybody to shepherd them, and because of that, I feel that they haven’t truly realized their identity and potential in Christ.

#3 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (75%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love talking with people, getting on a deep level and, sharing words of grace, love, and truth. I feel that this is important because God’s people have invested in me that way and have helped me tremendously, so I desire to do the same.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in a non-Christian/ native tradition home. I grew up knowing that the Creator existed, I just did not have a relationship with, or at least it was my way and under my terms. When I was 14 years old, my mother passed away from alcoholism. After her death, I feel into drinking and drugs as well.
I moved to Arizona from New Mexico after High school. I began to attend church with my grandmother, and it was then I realized I needed Christ in my life. I still struggled with alcoholism in the early years of my walk, but through intense discipleship and much prayer, I have been redeemed from that.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Black Falls Bible Church; No Water Mesa, AZ; 3-4 years involvement

Smith Lake Home Restoration Ministry; Winslow, AZ; 1 year involvement

Indian Bible College; Flagstaff, AZ; 4-5 years involvement

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Discipleship at Indian Bible College and the men who poured themselves into me

Regeneration at the Christian Discipleship Center, they helped point me in the right direction

Growing up learning about my tradition and culture with my father, uncles, brother, and cousins. This has proven to be a valuable asset to the ministry I am currently involved in

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My long term struggle with alcoholism, and the consequences of that which included homelessness, jail-time, and a scarred reputation

Lack of discipleship in the early years of my walk

Many failed relationships
