Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was a preacher’s kid so was raised in the church and came to the Lord at a young age (8), but it was my parents’ faith that I took hold of. In college it became real to my heart. It became MY faith. It has been a wonderful journey and I feel closer to what God wants for me, the older I get. I can’t wait for Heaven!

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Pastor’s wife in many United Methodist churches in Northeastern Ohio. Pastor’s wife at an Independemt Church in Waynesburg, OH.
1979-2014

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Becoming a mother… it is all I ever wanted to be.

Nursing school for my LPN license
(Retired now)

Maintaining friendship with my dear sister-in- the-Lord from college. She has been a huge influence in my life.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

When my big sister ran away to marry her boyfriend and moved to CA, leaving me in Ohio as an only child.

Seeing people in church treating my dad or my hubby cruelly. Church people can be on such power trips.

Being a mother to a son with ADHD/Bipolar disorder.

  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. To see all my family turn to the Lord.

4. To serve in a food pantry or soup kitchen.

5. To work behind the scenes and form true friendships.
