S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Demilade Adesiyan for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. #1 Gift, Teaching (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have an analytical mind and a good aptitude for conveying complex things in a really simple way. I also have the privilege of having been taught by some really good teachers from a really young age.

#2 Gift, Administration (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I believe this is a genetic gift I received from GOD through my mother, in much the same way Timothy received graces from his mum and grandma. My mother is a wonderful administrator, and having observed her while growing up in her household, I believe some of these giftings were activated in me.

#3 Gift, Prophecy (78%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I feel I have this gift because GOD placed it in me? I haven’t really considered myself to be a prophetic person, even though I have seen it come out in bits and spurts in my life.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Music- I love singing and listening to or playing music. Music connects my heart to the supernatural in ways that very little else can

2. Helping people- I have a heart for helping people in need and just blessing people whenever I have the chance.

3. Family- Spending time with family and friends and people I hold dear to my heart always brings me lasting joy and fulfilment.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

People in my age group- I say this knowing that my age group changes as I age, but I find that I’m best able to relate with people whose experiences are similar to mine. If we have similar interests also (like music or sports), that also makes working with them a much easier proposition.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Music ministry-related issues, teaching the word of GOD and creating and executing Bible studies excite me a lot. I also like listening to really anointed teachers and preachers and doing things that help people grow and mature.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was born into a Christian home, so I’ve always had a knowledge of GOD, and always been a “Christian”, in that sense. My real turning point to a lifestyle of devotion came during A-levels after I had experienced a really tough season in life. I decided to commit to GOD and to studying His word and since that day, I’ve been a true, practising Christian.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

High School as a worship/choir leader and bible teacher (Lifeforte High School, Ibadan, Nigeria; 4+ years)

Church choir, worship leader (Scripture Pasture Christian Center, Ibadan, Nigeria; 10+ years)

Worship/band leader (3+ years); Minister (1+ years); (LifePointe church, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria)

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Learning that I had a musical talent gave me a sense of purpose and “specialness” at a time when I felt rather ordinary. That discovery has launched me into music as a ministry gift for CHRIST.

Meeting some of my closes friends in high school and over the years has been a highlight of my life and they have made and continue to make an impact on the way I live and love.

Passing my Master’s Degree course with a distinction and winning a prize after a season where I felt I wasn’t good enough positively impacted me and made me realize I was actually a success.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I suffered through a season of depression through my teenage years into my late twenties. This has built compassion in me for those who suffer from sadness and depression.

I didn’t do as well as was expected n my first degree at university because I was dealing with sadness and depression. Seeing the look people gave me and hearing the way people spoke about me because I didn’t do as well as was expected in my first degree has given me a heart of compassion for those who don’t do as well in their academics, especially when it’s because of things they can’t share in a public space or with family.

Not being able to travel to the UK or US for my first degree, even though I had every expectation that I would/could.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Create music, albums, amazing creative stuff that would share the knowledge and love of GOD around the world!

4. Teach the Bible everywhere I could go

5. Help people all around the world who need help in one way or the other
