#1 Gift, Evangelism (96%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I was taught at a young age how to evangelize, although I do not always take opportunity when it presents itself because I simple used to have a fear of people judging me. But as Ive grown older i see how taking that step and overcoming that fear could help change that persons life forever. And God gave me the ability to talk and be comfortable with strangers so I should use these gifts to grow His kingdom.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
This gift I feel God placed in me because I want to see people be their best. hate to see someone down on themselves and discouraged when I know That although times maybe hard right now, or you aren’t where you want to be in this moment that doesn’t mean you will always be there. God has a plan you you will make it.

#3 Gift, Serving (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Serving is a gift that I am not really sure about I know that it is God given but other than serving in ministry I am not sure that I use that gift as much as I am called to.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I do not do it as often as I should but spending time with family and friends brings me joy and makes my heart smile. Creating lasting memories with people brings me a blissful joy.

2. Another thing that brings me joy is music. Music is peace to my soul, it is a healer in a sense, it is a joy to have music in my life. My love for music expanded when I discovered worship music. I’ve always listened to gospel music but worship music that truly creates and atmosphere that feels like the only people present is God and myself truly gives me life.

3. Lastly I get the most joy out of seeing those around me happy and at peace. A lot of my prayer time I devote to praying for others.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I love working with all people because you can learn different things from the different age groups but if I had to choose I would say children and teens.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

The children honestly because they are our future and I feel as if a lot of children in this generation are lost. So I feel as though reaching the children is my biggest concern.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I accepted Christ at the young age of 7 or 8 and honestly I don’t remember what led me to that decision but in my growth over the past two years I have strongly considered rededicating my life to Christ because I have grown since 7 years old and He means so much more to me now than He did at that age.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Zion Church
Audio/ Visual Ministry
2 years

First Baptist Church of Highland Park
Landover, Md
Youth Ministry
1 year

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Going to First Baptist Church of Glenarden’s 2015 Women’s Conference. At that time I was not in a good space, during the conference I had a wonderful encounter with one of the speakers and she encouraged me to join there Queen Esther ministry. Although I was extremely hesitant I joined and man it helped me become the woman I am today.

The Queen Esther ministry at FBCG was a LIFE CHANGING experience for me although I struggled a lot through out the 18-months in the class, when the class was over and I had to live the things and scriptures I had been studying it became easier because I had a reference and a group of supportive women to push me forward when I didn’t think I could go on.

God being merciful when He shouldn’t have. There have been plenty of times where God was merciful and forgiving when He should’ve given me the boot. But I am forever grateful for His love it has made me a loving person.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

The first and saddest experience would have to be the loss of my father at a young age. This in some ways hardened my heart in many ways that i didn’t realize until I had to confront them. But it helped me realize how strong God made me.

Next would had to be my relationship with a man that literally forced me to turn to God because I had no one to run to. This situation striped me of all morals and godly decision making until I could no longer recognize myself. I had turned away from all those who truly loved and cared for me, so in the moment when I truly felt alone I turned to God and it was the beginning of my road to change.

Having a rocky relationship with my mother. We haven’t always seen eye to eye but in my growth I realized that see may never change and I have to be okay with that, the only person that I can change is myself and I can pray for her.
