Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up attending church and learned about Jesus but didn’t know Him. As a young adult walked away and rebelled. During my rebellion met and married my ex husband that was abusive. In 1992, God gave me the strength to leave with the clothes on my back to Battered Women’s Shelter. God and the shelter saved my life that day. I began searching as all the things I had tried to fill the God void with were not working. In 1998, I accepted Christ at First Baptist Church on a Wednesday night. I found out after I accepted Christ that my mom had faithfully prayed for me during my rebellion.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Fellowship Bible Church, San Antonio, Tx – Jesus Walk About (Door to Door Outreach ministry inviting people to church and sharing Jesus) 2015 – 2017

Community Bible Church – SALT Singles Class, San Antonio, TX 2012 – 2013 Assistant / Greeter; 2013 – 2014 Co-Facilitate class

Oak Hills Church Singles Class, San Antonio, TX – 2005 – 2008 – Greeter

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I was adopted at 3 weeks old. I could have lived my life in an orphanage but my parents chose me. Now as a Christian, I see how it resembles how Christ adopts us when we accept His free gift of redemption / salvation.

In my late 20’s I discovered acting. It helped me to break out of my shyness and was quite therapeutic and fun experience.

Christ is Life Ministries classes with Bill Loveless were quite impactful in my walk with Christ.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I was a prodigal daughter who in my rebellion married an abusive man. I left him with the clothes on my back to Battered Women’s Shelter. This was the moment I began on the road back to God.

I got sick from environmental mold from a former job. I had to stand up for myself to inform management to get it fixed so others would not get sick. Not long after the company attempted to make repairs, company went through a merger and I was laid off. It was a blessing in the end as I healed from my ailments.

In 2015 my mom was diagnosed with Cancer. I filed for FMLA with the employer at that time. I began to be discriminated against and harassed by my direct supervisor for taking off work to take my mom to chemo even though I followed the protocol. Ultimately, I hired a lawyer and obtained a settlement and resigned. I took time off at that point to spend time with my mom and oversee her medical care. This ended up being a Huge blessing of time spent with my beautiful mom who went to be with the Lord May 2017.
