#1 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have always been someone to encourage someone when they are wavering in their faith. I like to encourage and motivate others in a way to help them grow closer to Christ. I like to reach out to the outcasts and the broken.

#2 Gift, Evangelism (87%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I think Evangelism also speaks to me well because I love sharing the Good News of Christ to others. Whether I’m uncomfortable or not, I am able to do it. I like speaking the Good News to those who already have a relationship with Christ and to those who are struggling, or who may not even have a relationship with our Savior.

#3 Gift, Mercy Showing (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am not surprised Mercy Showinf was up high on my list either. I have always had a heart for the less fortunate. I’ve been two two trips to Haiti already and I fell in love with the people. I have heart for those hurting, those who are homeless, sick, hurt, and so forth. I have a very tender heart and my heart aches for people like them because I put myself in their shoes and feel their pain with them. Even if someone is in jail, I have a heart to go help them. I just really find joy in serving, loving, and helping others

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I dealt with a lot growing up such as sexual abuse from my brother, a mom who tried killing herself because of depression, anxiety, and depression. Through those struggles, my faith in Christ grew so much and I was baptized by the pastor who helped me through the strugggles. His name is Arlen Higginbotham. He isn’t from Life Church where I currently go now but another church that is close around here. If you want to hear my whole testimony in detail just ask!

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Life Community Church
Bluffton, Indiana
Volunteer, and attend church here
Most of my life

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Witnessing the love Haitians have for God and their people. Also witnessing a boy with cerebral palsy in Haiti who despite all he went through (lack of nutrition, no parents, couldn’t walk just scooted around the house ) he remained so joyful.

Always going to my grandparents for family dinner on Sunday. I love hearing there compassionate hearts for others and their wisdom. They both have always been big role models in my life.

Worshipping in church with others always brings me joy and it makes me spiritually happy. Also just listening to Christian music wherever impacts me a lot today.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Sexually abused by my brother when I was younger because I can now help others going through abuse and can relate to them.

Dealing with terrible depression because now I can help others through it, be there for the, and just walk along side them to encourage them.

Dealing with terrible anxiety and having anxiety attacks because I can now relate to others and help them through thief anxiety.
