Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I have always been a Christian but just recently gave myself totally to God. Last fall around October I was just out of the hospital. I had suffered a sudo stroke. It was said that migraines throughout my life contributed to this.
I had lots of negativity and stress. Especially with my relationship.
I was outside mowing one day listening to my Christian playlist. I was singing aloud and I’m sure people who passed by thought I was nuts. The song “redeemed “ came on by big Daddy Weeve. As I sang tears came to my eyes..then I felt a heavy hand on my right shoulder. I instantly felt weight lifted and began sobbing. I turned and no one was there. I knew it was God telling I am redeemed and it’s time to let go and let him take care of everything.
My Nana played a big part in my life and I wish she was here to see me now. I know now that she is always with me and she is waiting for me when I go home to be with God and the rest of my family.
The birth of my grand babies was a day that I will embrace as the biggest gift from God. Love being a grandma. My passion is to bring them closer to God every day with speaking the word as I grow so will they.
Completing my education. Going back for my GED and eventually my bachelor degree. I believe God as much more education for me as I am preparing to enrolling in the Kingdom Ministries.
I have been through a few bad relationships. I see now that each one helped move me forward to the person I am today. All my failures have prepared me for my greatest relationship success… my relationship with my Father God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit . I am in the one relationship that will not fail. Amen
I did not get the promotion to Sgt. at my work. Overlooked four times. I was very disappointed. Questioned my capabilities. It’s been a couple of years now and I see that it was a blessing. I’m meant to be a leader still just not at my work.
I am to be a leader leading others to God. Helping give hope to the hopeless and the hopeful that is just needing a word to get them on the right path.
Wrapping It Up
The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?
1. My Relationship with GOD
2. My Relationship with Others
- Putting Your Spouse First
- Your Kids Second
- Everyone Else After those
3. To go on a missionary trip. Also to be a leader in my church. I see a new Vineyard church planted in my future. Helping it grow to the level of the Urbana Vineyard.
4. Minister to many with emphasis on youth.
5. Adding personal fitness classes to the church congregation. Staying fit and healthy are important and can lift confidence.
