Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was struggling in life financially and I was evicted from my apartment. My kids and I were homeless and living in Motels for 6 months. A coworker invited me to her church and that I how to started my journey. I didn’t find my church home till I came to Eastside. I found so much joy in everything after coming to Eastside at a Christmas service. I try to encourage others to come and experience that same joy.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

When I was 8 or 9 years old. I went to a Catholic school and there I studied the bible along with general education. I helped out in church during services as an alter girl at St. Pius V Church in Buena Park.

Eastside is the only church that I have really related to and felt confortable enough as an adult to serve.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Growing up I was with my grandmother most of the time. She was an amazing person and the person I saw in her is what I wanted to be. I wanted to be just like her. She was always helping someone, cooking and catering to her entire family. She was the person who would always tell me to always have faith in God because no matter the situation, he will always take care of you. I didn’t always understand that but I do now.

Being at the same job for 13 years I have many positive experiences. I have learned to be dependable and a loyal employee. I have accomplished certain goals like perfect attendance and other leveled achievements that have helped me to be a good leader.

I have recently lost 70 lbs. This was not an easy task and still is a struggle. I am learning to be more disciplined with what I put into my body. Exercising had become apart of my daily routine.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I was in an abusive relationship a couple of times after my daughter was born. I learned to reach out for help and to trust God to give me the strength when I am weak.

Not having a place to call home was a very scary experience that I went through with my family. Having gone through being homeless has helped me appreciate what we have and to help others to rely on God in order to turn things around.

I had my daughter when I was 17 years old. I was very young and I had to grow up real fast. I struggled alot and worked very hard to take care of my daughter. This helped me to appreciate and understand how important it is to have God in your life.
