S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Doug Thompson for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
When God reveals things to me via His Word, I want to share that. I enjoy diving into scripture and better understanding His truths.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I enjoy giving, though it is hard at times. I have a sense of giving to those that appear to be in need, even though they can be scamming me. People seemed to be drawn to me, I am approached by those in need quite often.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I don’t mind helping out in any capacity. At times I tend to over commit myself because I like to help.
[H]eart
1. I enjoy being outdoors in God’s creation, away from the business of life.
2. I enjoy doing a project and bringing it to completion. Whether this is at work, at home, or in the church.
3. Spending time with friends and family.
People of my age that I can relate with, people going through the same stages of life so I can maybe learn and help at the same time. I don’t mind getting to know the older generation as it encourages me to learn that they too went through similar struggles.
Missions – I feel people don’t understand how easy it is to get involved, it isn’t as scary as it first sounds. Discipleship, this isn’t a class or a process, but it is a way of life that must be developed and executed to grow in this area. It also involves taking others along with you to help grow them.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
Growing up in the church I understood the truths at a young age that I needed to be rescued from my sinfulness. I believed that Christ came to earth as God’s son to take on the penalty of death for my sins so I can take on his righteousness. This is why I desire to know Him more and do good works because of my desire to do live as He instructed.
