Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
I was in kids church one Sunday morning and the pastor was talking about the love of Jesus. I can’t remember what my age was but I vividly remember truly understanding what sin was and how much Jesus cares and loves for me.
Billings Freedom Church, Billings, MT, Youth & Worship Pastor, 6 years on staff full time.
Remnant School of Ministry, Birmingham, Alabama, Summer Internship
Christian Life Church, Birmingham, Alabama, Youth Ministry, Summer Internship
I’m thankful for the summer that I spent traveling with Evangelist Pat Schatzline. It molded and shaped who I want to become as a minister of the gospel. He has a passion for souls that many don’t have.
When I was in junior high, I lead worship with Russel Fraggar from Hillsong Church. Seeing how he worships and leads has inspired me to be person that is intentional in private and public worship of the Lord.
The transition I just went through tough me a lot about honoring the leaders that you are placed under. I learned that when am obedient in honoring people, God’s favor increases in my life.
In my teenage years, I struggled with pornography. It gripped my mind. It was a bondage. When I became vulnerable with someone I trusted, is where freedom began. I believe because of what I have struggled with in my past, God has positioned me to help others be set free from it.
In the elementary and junior high years of my life I was bullied. Gave me a love for those who have been forgotten or mistreated.
Hurt caused by people in the church. It stretched me to forgive those who have hurt my family. Especially my parents and their ministry. I love walking people through forgiveness.
