Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love to spend time with my wife and my family. My family is very important to me, and I am very fortunate to have a supportive family that loves me.

2. Physical therapy is my true passion. I will graduate with my doctorate at the end of this year. This is a job I have dreamed of for a long time. Serving in this field by applying my knowledge is a very rewarding feeling.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up going to Frankfort Baptist with my Mom. She taught Awanas on Wednesday nights. In 5th grade, I decided to give my life to Christ. My best friend at the time, Camron Sizemore, had given his life to Christ just a few weeks before. While this was just the start, I truly evolved in my faith from middle school to college. My faith became very strong in college when my brother was battling cancer. I know that God cured my brother because he has so many extraordinary things in store for him. I currently feel like a strong Christian, and I am looking to serve where God needs me.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Before starting physical therapy school, I spent about a year serving as a youth group leader/assistant with high schoolers at Frankfort Baptist Church in Corbin, KY.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I had an amazing football coach named Jason Chappell in high school. Coach Chappell was truly an amazing person that God put into my life. He served, and still serves as an amazing role model to me. I talk to him often, and ask him for advice on life. Coach Chappell has always been supportive of me and my family. Having a coach with strong faith was super important for my development as a young man.

My in-laws have been great role models to me. I started dating my wife over 4 years ago. They were always very involved in church, and so strong in their faith. They continually serve, and I grew a lot spiritually just being around them. Misti and Lloyd are amazing people, and they truly helped develop me into the man I needed to be.

Saying my brother being diagnosed with cancer doesn’t sound positive, but it really was. This was the most significant part of me becoming who I am, and becoming strong in my faith. This was the most challenging time of my life. I was able to see a community come together in prayer for my brother. I watched the faith in my parents, grandparents, and other family members grow tremendously throughout my brother’s year of cancer treatment.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I was playing football at The University of Pikeville. This was a really challenging time for me, and I felt pretty much alone in my faith and morals. This was a very long semester, but I stayed strong in my faith and found some amazing friends who supported me throughout this time in my life.
