S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Ellie Kucharuk for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. [H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Spend quality time with loved ones. Cooking with them, talking and listening and doing fun things together.

2. Spend time outdoors, especially at the beach. I love nature.

3. Blessing others with my gifts and abilities. I am talented in massage therapy, and it gives me deep joy to help others feel better because of what I can do. I love lessening the burden of God’s servants whenever and however I can.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

God’s servants mostly. I also love being involved in the lives of high-school aged kids, especially on a one-on-one basis

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Teens and college kids having strong relationships with God.
Christian men having Godly mentors who speak into their lives, and dark places.
Finding ways to bless church leaders.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was blessed to be born into a Christian family, and I received Christ into my heart when I was 8 years old during an altar call at Kid’s church in my home church in Brasil.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

I’ve only volunteer served in past churches. I’ve co-led small groups for my peers, helped lead youth groups (middle- and high-school ages), and led a women’s small group

I’ve been in ministry leadership teams and prayer groups

I’ve served in short term mission teams and leadership groups

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

When a young adults Pastor and friend invested in me to help develop leadership skills in me because he saw potential in me.

Going through a brief crisis of faith period in College that showed me that my faith in God was real, and His love and constant presence and true goodness were truly treasures to hold on to. This deepened my faith like never before.

Having a young professionals Pastor and good friend walk with me during a period of loss and point me back to God’s love for strength to keep going until I got through the hard part and got back into God’s loving arms.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I’ve battled depression, and through my healing process saw God’s hand leading me out of that dark place.

I broke my ankle a couple of years ago, and had to have surgery. My recovery process was filled with the generosity and loving care of people in my community who were willing to step in to help me in my time of need, which was very difficult for me.

I have never gotten married, and that has been a source of sadness for me, but I am able to not be bitter about it, which is a triumph!

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Being able to fully support myself with massaging, so I could work/live doing what I love and helping others.

4. I would own a Bed & Breakfast where I could bless others through my gifts of hospitality

5. I would travel to all of the places where my loved ones live, in the US and abroad.
