S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Ellie Fletcher for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#1 Gift, Serving (96%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
My parents have always told me that I have a servant’s heart. I love to serve and to help others. I love being a part of something greater and to me this is serving in the church. I recently started taking offering at church and I love that I am given this opportunity to serve and contribute on Sunday mornings. I would love to be with the kids for at least one service every week. I have so much fun with the little kids while we are teaching them about Jesus.

#2 Gift, Giving (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I know that since I have a job and earn a paycheck, I am called to give a certain amount to the church to be used for the Kingdom of God. It feels so good to be able to give and know that I am helping others who need the money more than I do and that it will be used to share the gospel.

#3 Gift, Evangelism (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love to share God’s Word. Lately, it has happened a lot at school. I care so much about everyone around me and I am often the person that people come to when they’re sad or overwhelmed and just need some encouragement. I love that people know that I care. I tell them that Jesus cares and loves them so much more than I can explain. I pray with people for God’s protection and guidance for the circumstance they are in. Sharing the gospel brings me joy.

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in a Christian home where we went to the same church every Sunday for 12 years. I am constantly surrounded by my Christian family. By about the time I was 6 or 7, I was baptized. I have always read my Bible and gone to church.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

I have served at Grace Community Church in Hilton Head, South Carolina. I was an Awana leader for 2 years.

I have served at Cornerstone Church in Bluffton, South Carolina in the Kids ministry and currently serve as a small group babysitter.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My parents working out their problems and dad moving back home.

Church leaders and Christian family members always surrounding me.

The growing closeness of my relationship with my siblings.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My parents were separated for a period of time and my siblings and I went to Divorce Care for Kids.

My aunt and uncle abused their children and the kids are now being adopted by family members who were able to provide a Godly home.

My sister had severe depression and was suicidal for a period of time a few years ago.
