Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Although raised in a church (non-evangelical), I didn’t realize that God wanted a personal relationship with me until I overheard others talking about Jesus and noticed my sister’s changed life after she made a personal decision. Very curious and intrigued, I pursued understanding this and at 16 one night I told God I wanted that personal relationship with Him and gave my life to Him, receiving His life in me.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Distant past in MN/WA: Youth Leader, Brooklyn Center Baptist Church, MN (17 years old for 1-2 years); Bible study leader, womens ministry, worship ministry, outreach ministries, Northshore Baptist Church, WA (15 years)

Newberg: Preaching, leadership, outreach, small groups, Southside Free Methodist Church, Newberg (5 years)

Newberg: Worship pastor, associate pastor, discipleship pastor (preaching, leadership, overseeing various ministries), Northside CC, 20+ years (accumulative)

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Growing up in loving home, knowing I was loved

Hearing “you can do it” from Jim when facing something I wanted to do but didn’t know if I could do it (singing a solo in outreach Christmas production). Changed my belief in what could happen when I risked stepping up front and doing a risky thing.

Birth of Jeremy & Amy – focusing on the wellbeing and growth of young ones stirred my passion to do this for others outside my family.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Jeremy’s death

Being fired from a job/ministry I loved

Alcoholic sister who committed suicide.
