S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Erica Quattlebaum for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#1 Gift, Serving (68%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I feel God has called each of us to serve. After first believing my calling was student ministry, I realized it was not a good fit and quit. I’m glad I did not let that experience stop me from serving. Late last year, I felt called to serve on the VIP team and it has been such a rewarding experience. I feel so much joy on the Sunday’s I get to serve!

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (56%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I guess I am an encourager because I know what it is like to need encouraging. My experience with my illness, having lost multiple jobs, penny pinching every month – it all makes me realize how important not losing hope is. Encouraging others to keep the faith and trust in God’s plan is also something I have to encourage myself to do on a daily basis.

#3 Gift, Giving (46%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I will never forget several years ago on a First Wednesday when I found out I lost my job. That night, Pastor Robert Morris was speaking on tithing. God convicted me and even though I had literally just lost my job, I started tithing that night. I only have what I have because of God’s grace.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I became a re-born Christian in my mid-30s after years of sexual promiscuity, drinking/partying almost every night. I thought I was living the life. Then, I suffered a worldly consequence of my sin and immediately fell to my knees praying for God to rescue me from the life I was living. Within weeks, I was attending Seacoast, had cut all ties with all of my “friends”, and had joined a small group. I was re-baptized in 2012 on my birthday.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Custom Middle School Group Leader for 9th grade girls

VIP Team (new visitors/information desk)

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Apples of Gold small group

Having prophesy come true, physical interaction with the Holy Spirit

Parents who were determined that I would get a higher education even though neither did

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Illness (years of suffering and not being able to live my life)

Medication denial and the unrelenting fight with insurance

Years of rebelling against Christ and the consequences suffered because of that (physical, the way I treated my family/Zoe)
