S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Andrew Estes for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

[H]eart
1. I love serving others. i also like how it puts a smile on both faces, both the person serving and the person being served.
2. I like travelling and seeing the beauty of God’s earth. It is a wonderful thing to see stuff that not many people get to see.
3. I like making people laugh, because it both lightens the mood and keeps people happy.
I love to work with fellow believers, usually someone who is not too serious to laugh at jokes, and someone who is around my age or a few years older
Needs in service definitely spur me to help out.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I became a Christian because I was born into a Christian home, and i have been surrounded by Christianity for a long time. I would not be able to point out a specific moment where i got saved.
I served on a small team cutting grass at my church, Calvary Chapel Fluvanna in Palmyra, Virginia, where I was just a person who mowed lawns. just for 1 summer
I have played bass for my church for a number of years, called Calvary Chapel Fluvanna in Palmyra, Virginia, for 2-3 years
I worked as a waiter/dishwasher/groundskeeper at a castle in austria called Schloss Heroldeck for a summer
I worked in a castle in Austria, and it was a great experience. Lots of great friends made, and we had a lot of fun working in different areas. Also lots of growth in the Lord as well.
A bible camp that i went to with my church one summer. it really encouraged me to make my faith in God personal, and to take the next step away from being a baby christian and towards being a mature one
Another retreat i went on with my church I discovered I had a passion for missions.
While the castle experience was great, we learned some lessons. One of the male leaders of the program was attracted to one of the 16 year old girls, although he was 30 and had a wife and 3 kids. This led to unfortunate circumstances which I can’t mention, but it taught us that leadership needed to be validated, and we should make sure we could trust them before we follow them blindly.
I was not accepted to many of the better colleges I applied to, and I thought it was a bad thing, but in reality it was God redirecting my paths for the next year.
