This one surprised me a little. However, I’ve developed a heart for the unbeliever due to my job, where I work with primarily unbelievers. More than ever, I see and feel the need to share the love and salvation of Jesus to them.

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

God used music to save me. I was headed down a destructive path, and a youth pastor got ahold of me. I had been learning the guitar, and he got me on a worship team, and mentored me. Although I accepted Christ as a young boy, it wasn’t until I was 15 that my faith became real to me.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Having a series of mentors when I was 14-18 years old that really fed into my life and showed me God’s love.

Marrying my wife. I have learned so much about God through her and her relationship with God.

Becoming a police officer.

I had a pretty negative experience with getting burned by a church and losing all our friends overnight.
