S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Marlene Baxter for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Not sure about this one. Of course I want to be a light to those outside the Kingdom. But I am not the one to start the conversation.

[H]eart
1. Demonstrative Praise and worship inside and outside the congregational setting.
Whether the demonstration encompasses body (movement), soul (searching), or spirit (yielding.)
2. Study and share the word. God’s word never changes. yet it is so multi-dimensional that it meets you wherever you are as it propels you to the next level or steadies your right there.
3. Help others release the joy Holy Spirit has deposited in them.
Most experience with children. A heart for young adult Christians or babe’s in Christ. (Still scared of teenagers) š
Again, I feel called to worship, Which is strange because I can’t sing anymore, have no professional dance training, can’t play an instrument. But part of my response to the house church vision is to study or reflect upon the scriptures provided with a focus on present joy or the expectation of joy.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

First Rock Baptist Church – Choir member, bible study leader
Being taught by Mr. Wilson, my Sunday school teacher when I was a teenager
Had a praying mother, who was actually my aunt who raised me from birth and adopted me when I was 12.
I believe I used to have conversations with the Lord or Angels when I was very young.
Some of my sisters and brothers actually blamed me for my natural mother’s death because they thought she died in child birth.
My dad, who raised me (not my natural father) became an alcoholic (neighborhood drunk), physically and verbally abused my mom. Embarrassed
and verbally abused me. This after showing me so much love as a small child.
I never seemed to fit in anywhere. I grew up a black child in a white world and a light-skinned child in a colored world. Nobody seemed to like me. Had to learn to smile because people always thought I was angry when I wasn’t really.
