[E]xperience

I accepted Christ as my personal Savior when I was 22 years old. I had been raised in the church, but never surrendered to Christ. I had used drugs, and relationships to fill the void in my heart that only God could fill.

Taught Sunday School, served as Superintendent of Sunday School, Vacation Bible School; licensed to preach in 1989. Evangelism Director, member of Intercessory prayer team- served for 30 years in various capacity at Bethlehem Baptist in Alexandria VA.

Ordained as an Evangelist at Kingdom Ministry Church in Hampton, Va- helped train leaders of church-been involved with church for 20 years

Ekklesia International Church (Brentwood Md) I currently serve with the Women’s Ministry and Christian Education Ministry- I have been a member for past 3 years

Realizing that God was always present with me throughout being kidnapped and abused by a family member.

Restored relationship and being able to forgive my father for abandoning me and my mother. Writing my 1st book about forgiving him and its importance to my life and the lives of my children and their futures.

Connecting and bonding with my siblings to care for and support our dad.

Although my aunt kidnapped and abused me, I have been able to forgive her and used my experiences to help children who feel abandoned like I use to.

Being an unwed mother at 16 years old has allowed me to be understanding of how much of an outcast that can make you feel. I also have the blessed experience to know that the sex was sin, but God made the life. So I am able to share my testimony of my son being the tool that God used to draw me back to Him.
