Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in a wonderful Christian home and my parents led me to the Lord. My relationship was furthered nurtured through my church, youth group, young life and going on mission trips and Kanakup camp.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

taught sunday school, vbs, led small groups in youth groups, helped lead adult small groups, greeter, taught /led/ hosted women’s bible studies – served in church and community for over 25 years. Castle Hills First Baptist in San Antonio, texas for 4 years; Faith Bible Church in The Woodlands, Texas for 22 years.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Serving on Mission Trips and seeing God work in miraculous and supernatural ways that have strengthened my faith. (Belize, Guatemala, Albania)

Being involved in Pine Cove Family camp for 12 years with my family. It has challenged us spiritually as a family and as a couple in our marriage.

Doing Bible Study Fellowship for over 10 years and helping as a group leader as well. It has significantly deepened my knowledge of God’s Word.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Being involved in an unequally yoked relationship in college. It helped me empathize and hopefully impart wisdom to college and teenage girls

Going through over five years of infertility. It has helped me have compassion for other women experiencing the pain of not being able to get pregnant and have children.

Going through a hard small group break up at our church and having multiple families leave the church as a result.
